I am a ceramic sculptor.
My home and studio are located in Newport News, Virginia, where
I reside with family and dogs, and
where I am currently working on a series of figurative sculptures.
I was born in Cherry Point, North Carolina, but moved away never
to return before I was six months old.
I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Christopher Newport
College in 1984, and a Master of Fine
Arts Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1997. My
artistic medium of choice is terra cotta
clay, but I've been known to throw porcelain, cast crystal, and
paint with soft pastels.
